FLY

Jon is performing in a show called FLY at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH (http://www.canobie.com/showsfly.php) His partner will be Jamie from the Nimble Arts program in Brattleboro, VT. The dates they will be there are August5, 13, 14, 15, 16, &20. Show times are 4 & 8 pm.

Delirium

Most recent CdS experience was Delirium at the Garden in Boston. Bought a package through GBH Auction that got us in to see their Friday rehearsal and a private look back stage before the show on Saturday. Of all the shows we have seen this one is pretty low on my list. It's more of a concert, so if you love the music part of Cirque it's perfect. The aerial acts are all great - fabric hammock, lyra, and straps. The costumes and makeup aren't as spectacular as their classic shows like Vareki or Mystere. Delirium is on break now until they open again next fall for a tour of Europe.

La Nouba

Next week we head to Orlando to see La Nouba at Disneyworld :-)

This is a quick little blog that will tell the tales of our travels to see Cirque du Soleil and other aerial dance performances. To date I have seen Varekai in Boston, Washington, DC, and Hartford; "O", Mystere, KA, and Zumanity in Las Vegas; Quidam (twice in one weekend) in Philadelphia, and Delirium in Worcester, MA.
Future shows in September include Corteo in Boston and back to Vegas to connect with CirqueCon to see Love, "O", KA, and Mystere.
Another great show with aerial dance was Cavalia - horses too.
